About the Dan & Peggy Kelly Foundation

Daniel Tighe is a Buffalo, New York–based business and community leader with a strong commitment to giving back and creating meaningful opportunities for others. Throughout his career, Daniel has built a reputation for bringing people together, developing strong relationships, and turning ideas into initiatives that positively impact the community.

As President of a nonprofit organization, Daniel provides leadership and vision while working closely with community partners, local businesses, families, and supporters to advance the organization’s mission. He is passionate about creating opportunities for young people, supporting families, and giving back to the communities that have played an important role in his own life.

Daniel’s professional background in hospitality, entertainment, and business development has given him extensive experience in leadership, fundraising, partnerships, and community engagement. He brings that experience to his nonprofit work with a focus on building sustainable programs, strengthening community relationships, and making a lasting difference.

A lifelong advocate for Western New York, Daniel believes that strong communities are built through collaboration, generosity, and a willingness to invest in the next generation. Through his leadership, he continues to dedicate his time and resources to causes that make a positive and lasting impact.

Tom is a business executive with more than 35 years of experience in the corporate financial services industry. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work with financial institutions, helping them navigate challenges, develop strategies, and achieve their goals. He is grateful for the relationships and experiences that his career has provided and enjoys using that experience to help others.

Born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY, Tom now calls Charlotte, North Carolina, home. He married into the Kelly Family which has always been an important part of his life, and he believes strongly in the importance of giving back and helping create opportunities for the community and future generations of others.

As a member of the Executive Committee of the Dan and Peggy Kelly Family Foundation, Tom is proud to be part of a family effort dedicated to continuing Dan and Peggy’s legacy of generosity and caring for others. He works with the Foundation team to strengthen fundraising efforts and, most importantly, help provide educational opportunities and support to those who can benefit from them.

Serving on the Foundation’s board is deeply meaningful to Tom. He is honored to contribute his time, experience, and energy to a cause that is close to his heart. Tom looks forward to working alongside his family and fellow board members to build on Dan and Peggy’s legacy and make a lasting difference in the lives of others.

An accomplished Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance professional with over 20 years of experience in financial crime prevention, regulatory compliance, and risk management. A graduate of the State University of New York at Brockport with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, she brings a strong foundation in investigative practices, compliance, and ethical leadership to her work.

Beyond her professional career, she is deeply committed to serving her community. She currently serves as Secretary of the Niagara Falls Elks Lodge #346 and has dedicated more than 16 years to supporting youth as a Girl Scout leader. Her commitment to community service reflects her passion for leadership, mentorship, and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
